You mean how to import a .umx file into RuneEd so it can be played in your map? Follow this "Link" it explains how to make and import a .umx file into RuneEd.
If you already have a .umx file you can just drop it into your "music" folder and then enable your music player in the game menu options and you are ready to go.

Just in case...
To enable the music function you’ll need to start up Rune and then go into the “Main Menu” > “Options” > “Game” and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the “Advanced Options” tab. In that menu click and open up “Audio” then scroll down to “UseCDMusic” and change that setting to “False” and then go to UseDigitalMusic” and change that setting to “True”. In addition, the “MusicVolume” setting is there if you want to make any volume adjustments.
Hope this helps...
Thank you for your help,

wohw..... this tutorial is very huge...
uax files are much easyer and faster to make.
just search a good converter.

If i remind it wrong than please let us know! But this should work!
HOW TO CREATE *.UAX FILES
1. You need a sound program where you can change the audio file to this
Format: 22.050 Hz; 8Bit; Mono; *.wav
2. If yo change the format save the file and copy it into your rune
"sound" folder.
3. Open RuneED, go to the Browser open Sounds,
go down to "import" your new audio file and create a new Package.
4. If you do well with the sound format the ED will accept the audio file and add it into your package.
5. At last you can go to the "save" button and save it as *uax file.
DONE!
I think i dont have to explain "how to add more than just one sound into a package...!?
It's also easy: JUST, don't forget your package/name titel you used to create the new package! import audio files into the same package/name and save the package again... done. This way you can update you package if you want to add other/new sounds.
With package/name i meen this:

And dont forget to put all your sound files into the RUNE "sound" folder!
Its really important to import them!

if it works than please dont forget so send some feedback for other ppl!

I followed Onaga's instructions and made some .uax sound files and they work great. The only downside that I found is .uax files are much bigger than .umx files but making .uax files is so much easier...
thanks!
thanks!
i'm glad that it works!!!
